New Tory University Tsar Toby Young joked about masturbating over starving Comic Relief kids
New Tory University advisor Toby Young posted a tweet 'joking' about masturbating over scenes of extreme poverty, including harrowing images of starving children in 2009.
During Comic Relief in 2009, Simon Cowell visited Kenya where he witnessed first hand how starving children were forced to scavenge from a rubbish dump for 16 hours a day in order to survive. Cowell described the scene as 'hell on earth':

Twitter user Jane Williams (@SongBird2407) had initially tweeted that she had 'gone through about 5 boxes of kleenex' whilst watching the harrowing scenes of poverty and desperation during BBC charity fundraiser in 2009.

However, replying to Ms Williams' tweet, the man whom the Tories have recently appointed to the board of the Office for Students, Toby Young, responded in disturbing fashion.
Mr Young stated that rather than finding the scenes of extreme poverty and human misery distressing, he had in fact been sexually aroused by them, stating that:
Me Too, I havn't wanked so much in ages. #ComicRelief

The emergence of this hugely offensive tweet follows a string of misogynistic, h*mophobic and deeply offensive tweets to come out in recent weeks following Young's surprise appointment by the government.
Young had also attempted to halt the tide of historic offensive messages emerging last night by deleting almost 50,000 tweets from his account. Young had composed over 56,000 tweets on Tuesday but on Wednesday just 8,439 remained.
Since Mr Young's numerous derogatory tweets were brought to light, the Department for Education have come under increasing pressure to backtrack on their decision to hire the outspoken political commentator.
However, following the emergence of Young's inexplicably disgusting Comic Relief tweet today, Theresa May's government must surely take the time to seriously rethink their decision to appoint a man with such clearly detestable views.
Labour MP Jared O'Mara had the whip withdrawn for similar vile comments made online, and following a concerted media storm surrounding the Sheffield Hallam MP, he was expelled from the party, leading Theresa May to formally denounce the Labour MP's comments as completely unacceptable.
If Theresa May and the Conservatives truly believed that Jared O'Mara's comments were unacceptable - which they are - then it beggars belief that they continue to stand by Toby Young, whose comments were equally as despicable.
