The Sun literally just went full Nazi, asking: 'What will we do about The Muslim Problem then?'
Hidden deep within today's issue of The Sun was a piece of writing that exposes just how acceptable and legitimised full blown fascism is becoming in modern day Britain.
In a piece reminiscent of Nazi propaganda, Sun columnist Trevor Kavanagh espouses a tirade of furiously opinionated anti-immigrant rhetoric, before ending his column by asking readers:
What will we do about The Muslim Problem then?
That's right, after a weekend which saw full blown Nazis killing and maiming innocent people in Charlottesville, Trevor Kavanagh and The Sun decided it was appropriate to use a phrase straight out of the Hitler handbook.
Just ask yourself this: what would be the reaction in Britain if The Sun had published a column that read:
What will we do about The Jewish Problem then? The entire country would be up in arms calling our the Murdoch rag for espousing full blown Fascist rhetoric - and quite rightly so. In fact many would be calling for the publication to be shut down entirely.
Which leads to the question: how on earth is it in any way acceptable to simply replace the word 'Jewish' with 'Muslim' and it be deemed in any way acceptable? It isn't, and everybody in Britain needs to be actively calling this out for exactly what it is - full blown fascism.

But the story doesn't end there.
Not only did The Sun intentionally publish Nazi rhetoric with the hope of inciting yet more hatred against an entire religion of people, the author of the column, Trevor Kavanagh, also happens to be a board member of the 'independent' press regulator IPSO.
That's right. The man writing Nazi propaganda in today's Sun is a person employed specifically to regulate what can and cannot be published in British publications.

And it's not like this is the first time Kavanagh has been in trouble for similar remarks.
He was The Sun columnist who wrote the notorious attack piece on Channel 4 News presenter Fatima Manji, which branded all Muslims as belonging to a 'violent religion' and accused Manji of being intentionally provocative by wearing a headscarf whilst reporting on the Nice terror attacks - this despite the fact that she had been scheduled to present the programme ten days previous.
Britain is not yet at the stage where Nazis and white supremacists feel emboldened enough to openly march on the streets in any sizable numbers like in the USA, but if we carry on failing to call out disgusting racism such as that in today's Sun, what happened in Charlottesville on the weekend is a prospect Britain could soon be faced with.
