This piece literally says it all!!! Outstanding roundup and demolishing of the idiot ideas constantly cited by mainstream media about why everyone's lives have to be crappier because there's just no way to find more money. It is THERE already! Plenty of it! This should be mandatory reading for everyone!!

It’s rather shocking when you realise this is a worldwide problem. Democratic, Authoritarian, whatever, countries, all give huge tax breaks to the ultra-rich which creates a ripple effect that harms the common-man. It keeps him beholden to his unworthy masters.

Personally speaking, I think the whole, so-called, digital revolution, has enabled fraudulent money transactions not seen since ..er.. well, I guess movements of money into the pockets of the rich has happened since time enmemorium - but the staggering audacity and greed on display in 2024 is really quite a tipping point I think.

Riots are just the start of it. It will be interesting to see how 'mega rich', or those that consider themselves so, may attempt to cocoon themselves away from the hoi polloi on decreasing global land space.

I suppose this explains the boom in super yacht building/designing/buying that's been going on for some years now.

Being in another G7 in Canada here we've noted a raft of indications main stream and opposition parties are increasingly engaged in pro war austerities via active compliance and back to work anti strike legislation with it's right wing anti working class trade union corporate culture and prevailing eg anti indigenous Big Oil excessively enforced anti protest injunction backed arrest , fine and incarceration tactics , political Left REPRESENTATION is all but extinct in across the onerously hegemonic G7 , making this arguably a good first imperative to RECTIFY currently .

Being that most working people are aghast at the sheer unaffordability of any decent living standard with a gross income of anything under roughly 4500 Cad (2650 Gbp) and the fact 4500 is a relative rarity when market rents in our major cities are usually well over half an average productive employed individual's salary , the notion comes to mind, perhaps a good old fashioned Tax Revolt might be in order lol .

I think I'd frame such a beast in an either/or "offering" regards leaders' beholden to the tax the rich taboo that's a significant facet of the overall "screw you all" Class Supremacist Cake Walk we're ostensibly enduring while being fed (additional) War/Vax Pablum in the Government Mis/disinformation bulletins beyond toleration of critical thinking adults today .

These things our author and myself are making note of are pointing up a 100 year plus Classicidal Cold War to my thinking which should signal tougher "measures" by over taxed , manufactured scarcity crises ridden contemporary commoners in all of these darling democracies .

What now indeed ! It's psinfully plain to me that our common political corporate elite begs a more fully contiguous abandonment at the ballots at every opportunity .

Of late I've noticed that the two main Communist Parties here in Class Conflicted Canada have quite comprehensive , reasonable platforms , budget structures , and foreign policies so I'll VOTE for one now .

Enough of the MSM and ruling elite's criminal practices , it's time people come to terms with the institutional systemic exploitation and attack strategies of the rich on the poor . They are apparently not interested in the needs of the working poor so to hell with their trade unions and "Starmers". It's time for rank and file General Strikes and PUBLIC challenges to false narratives and blatant lies promulgated by the stagnant Media and Duopoly playing monkey in the middle on the folk .

And they can STUFF their war(s), excessive and worthless Vax "boosters" conceived and embedded to [discipline] our precious underclass , not Russians who are legally OBLIGATED to protect their people in Ukraine and wherever they're bullied (and murdered) . Thank you .

It certainly needs radical reform. But taxes put power into the hands of rogues in govt . So better to eliminate taxes altogether and simply put limits on profits, with all excesses to be ploughed back into society for the common good. When they want to tax the poor more, they always spin it as taxing the rich, and then they clobber the poor.
